1. What is user-agent ?

User agent is a (string) or text about with browser with device with platform that you using to connect to internet .

2. How it works?

It uses some web code texts like this :

Mozilla/5.0 (Linux; Android 5.0.1; HTC Butterfly S 901d Build/LRX22G) AppleWebKit/601.21 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/51.0.3218.135 Mobile Safari/602.4

To identify you .

It sits on header request that sent from your browser to the url of the website you try to connect

Like this user-agent in top tells you:

Your device is htc

Your (os) that stand for operating system is android

Your browser is chrome and so on......

3. How you can change it ?

Oh I thought you never ask , to change it is really easy you just should change it with a new user-agent that you prefer and put it on header of you request

You can do it in different browsers :

on chrome go to more tools > develper tools

push the button on top with picture of a phone

in the list of phones choose edit..

click on add custom device..

click on tools in fewgram.com

click on user-agent generator that gives you a random user-agent string

copy the user-agent string

paste it in the textbox with compatible screen size

reload page and you have a new device identity

4. You can do it in different browsers How it connect with screen size?

Screen size is another parameter that gives you an identity if you change your user-agent and not the compatible screen size It’s gonna bring doubt to the service that check and count identities.

Like a windows useragent should have at list 1200*800 pixel or an android 350,600 pixel screen size.
